This is True
In 1982
“I’m So Excited”
Reached 30
I imagine Anita
Announcing “not enough”
So wanting more
(In ’84)
They remixed
And rereleased
And were even more excited
To reach 9
Which was fine
They’d had bigger hits
Even that year
But this one they wrote
Today
You might not Jump
For their love
Or do the Neutron Dance
Or feel totally
Automatic
But you can’t tell anyone
You’re so excited
Without them saying
“And you just can’t hide it”
