(I’m writing a poem a day for 100 days. The next day’s poem’s title is based on comments on the previous day’s poems.)(From November 2018 through March 2019, I wrote one poem a day for 100 days at my Facebook page. While I get my act together to return to ranking things, I will be reprinting the poems here. I’m currently writing another 100 poems. Rankings will resume soon)
Sometimes when I’m alone
(Or rather by myself)
Like at an airport gate
Strangers seek me out
Sometimes they want to talk
Often they ask to pray
And I listen and wait
Inside, I want to shout
Sometimes I want to sit
Vanish into a zone
Listen to my music
Don’t force me to hangout
I glue my eyes straight at my phone
But that won’t change my fate
